Registered General Nurses urgently needed to work in Inner and Outer London. Ward type: Medical, Surgical, Outpatients.
To provide planned nursing care for patients and to assist in the management and organisation of work as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
1. Current (within last 6 months) evidence based practice - Either - 6 Months registration staff nurse experience in General Medicine, Oncology, Palliative Care or Cardiology.
2. Effective communication skills (written, non-verbal &verbal)
3. Good personal skills
4. Able to work as an effective team member
5. Able to assess, plan, implement & evaluate programmes of care
6. Sound Clinical skills
7. Able to maintain clear and legible documentation
8. Practices within the scope of the NMC Code of Professional Conduct
9. Basic drug knowledge
10. Promote people’s equality, diversity & rights
11. To ensure actions contribute to quality
12. Knowledge of Clinical Governance & a commitment to clinical supervision
13. Knowledge of the individuals responsibility towards health & safety
14. Customer care and complaints handling
15. Safeguarding children awareness training required
