MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

* Current experience, within 6 months, in the field of the assignment.
* Current (within 6 months) evidence based practice
* Experience of paediatric/ infant nursing in the field of the assignment
* RN8, RN15 Registered Nurse, registered on the NMC Register, or RN1, RN2, or RN12 Registered Nurse, with a post registration course in paediatrics, registered on the NMC register BLS & PLS

4. Able to assess, plan, implement & evaluate programmes of care
5. Sound Clinical skills
6. Able to maintain clear and legible documentation

8. Basic drug knowledge

10. To ensure actions contribute to quality
11. Knowledge of Clinical Governance & a commitment to clinical supervision
12. Knowledge of the individuals responsibility towards health & safety
13. Customer care and complaints handling
14. Awareness of professional and paediatric issues
15.Commitment to family centred care
14. Safeguarding children awareness training required
